Cafe Styles - need your opinion

Greetings!

I am a Hotel Restaurant Institution Management Undergraduate and I am currently reasearching a paper regarding the IDEAL CAFE which concentrates on the various products and ambience of each cafe. I would like your opinion on several popular cafes such as STARBUCKS, SEATTLE'S BEST, SAN FRANCISCO COFFEE. Please feel free to post your opinon on these cafes and your own view of an IDEAL CAFE for people all around the world.

Is there one platonic ideal form of a cafe that works all around the world? I'm not sure. An ideal cafe would suit the needs of the people in each location where it was placed but that might involve it taking quite different forms or, in the case of something like Starbucks, appealing to a globalised picture of 'American quality' (do they have any branches in Middle Eastern nations, where that phrase is less likely to have much trading value?)
