    french press lid...

O.K. So I am back from Anaheim. I found some pretty cool things and I also saw some things I wasn't to sure about. There is a new company that is selling lids for disposable paper cups. These lids have a filter built into them. You use it just like a french press except its disposable. I am going to post pics below. I think the only flaw is that after you brew a french press you are supposed to transfer it to a carafe. Sort of defeats the purpose of the disposable cup...so I waited till I could drink the coffee and it had been sitting/cooling in the grounds...over extraction?? Oh well....will post more on what I found later.

    Re: french press lid...

I did a demo for a co-worker....they pointed out something I didn't think of. What if you drink your coffee with stuff in it. It's hard to pour milk, sugar or whiskey through that wee little drinking hole

Fascinating! Goes against the "green" no plastic/no garbage movement but very innovative.

Must also add a heck of a $ to a cup of Java, no?

I could be wrong but I think they said something like $.32 per cup...I still do not like the fact that the coffee keeps extracting as you drink it....
