Hi all,

I bought a Breville BES860XL couple weeks ago,
and I have tried different kind of milk (2% reduced, 0%, whole milk and even soy milk)
the milk I made just never turn out right.

BES860XL does give a OK mircofoam on top of the milk,
but the frothed milk below the mircofoam is not creamy & thick at all;
it is as simular as I pour out the milk from bottle.
*** I stop frothing whenever the temp reach 140F -150F

what should i do? what is the problem?
my skill, the brand of milk, the machine itself...etc
please help!!!

Hello "alonebb"

There are many factors to frothing milk (machine, skill, milk fat, temperature, etc.)

Rather than get into a whole long description of how to froth milk, here is a link to a great website that describes and explains the process of frothing milk. Click on the different topics (including the one called "Hello Milk") and you will see a lot of useful information. CoffeeGeek - The Milk Frothing Guide

If you have some extra time, here is another web article that you may find interesting

I hope this helps.
