I forgot to say that a great way to sweeten your iced brewed coffee is to with a simple syrup. Since sugar dissolves in hot liquid, pouring granulated sugar into iced coffee or iced tea (you know at the bottom of the glass where all of the sugar sits?), really doesn't sweeten your beverage, at all...So to make the simple syrup: Heat equal parts of sugar (I use organic, raw sugar) and water (I like to make about 2 cups and leave in in the fridge), say 1 cup of each. Heat to dissolve the sugar and cool. It is that simple!! Your friends will really appreciate the effort!!
