Hi. my name is Deborah and I'm new to the forum. I had been looking for the longest period for a quality stove top percolator because we have frequent power outages in my area. After returning a couple new but poor quality percolators I ordered online, I finally found exactly what I wanted in a thrift store. I really love this pot. It is extreme high quality, clearly built to last and is in excellent condition. The problem is I later discovered that a part called the spreader was missing. It is my understanding that this part evenly disperses the water over the grounds. Here is what I know about this percolator:

It is stamped on the bottom: Revere Ware Copper Clad 1801, Patent 2272609, Made Under Process Patent 2363973. There is no water fill line but it appears to hold approximately 8 cups.
The approximate dimensions are:

H=7" without lid
Base=4 1/2 " Dia
Top = 5" Dia
Basket = 4 5/8 " Dia

I found nothing on Ebay or Amazon. From what I can determine Revere Ware is no longer in business. I'm hoping someone in this forum will know where I might get this part or something similar that would work even from another brand. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rose for your quick reply and for the two great websites. I'll definitely keep both in mind for the future. Unfortunately my percolator is stove top not electric so I didn't find what I needed, but again, these are good resources for the future. Thanks again. I'll keep looking.
