Thank you! Well, I personally don't buy Kopi Luwak (mostly due to the cost), but from an animal cruelty perspective I suppose it is very similar to caged chicken eggs or veal production.

Again, I don't buy Luwak, but until I stop eating veal I don't have a moral leg to stand on in condemnation of people who do.

Ha! Great answer, BLC! I was just messing around. We have a thread discussing Luwak, weasel, Elephant, and assorted other animal processed coffees. I'm sure there's a nursing home out there where the residents are forced fed coffee cherries...just sayin'. Crazy world we live in...

It is a shame that Luwak has to have such a controversy surrounding it. If it is in fact picked wild that is one thing, but as we know that is not always the case.
