    Hello Armani.

I'm not sure where in the globe you're located, but here in the United States, some people tend to over-celebrate the 4th of July holiday with excessive drinking and reckless use of fireworks. It is one of the most active days for hospital emergency rooms. People who are traveling to attend barbeques and partys need to be extra careful on the roads that day, particularly in the evening hours after everyone has been celebrating all day.

Armani might be from Antarctica, lol..........where the 4th of July is not celebrated.
Just kidding, hope you don't mind, Armani.
On a serious note, it is always good to ask about something you actually don't know.

    Hi Armani,

I guess I should have explained better. I thought you were just wondering why people tell each other to have a safe 4th of July. It seems that this holiday has lost some of its real meaning for many people here in the United States. Instead, for some people, it's become a day of excessive recklessness.

Here is some information I should have added to my original response to your question:

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States.

    I hope this helps.

    Rose
