Post Subject: Sun Coffee like Sun Tea?
I'm trying the cold brew coffee methods right now (trying a bunch and figuring out which one I like best). We make Mate Iced Tea by solar brewing (it is Florida after all), and I think next I'll try sun coffee, unless someone has a reason not too...
gracias,
JoEllen

Coffee certainly can aggravate stomach ulcers. Caffeine stimulates the stomach to produce a lot of the gastric acid and so it makes existing ulcers worse. There are also some other components in coffee that stimulate the gastric acid production so even decaffeinated coffee may make things worse.
Some people who cannot stand drinking normal coffee find that they are fine when they switch to cold brew coffee.
If you have a problem with ulcers you can also try to eat a banana with your coffee. Bananas are for some reason very good for stomach ulcers.

Post Subject: Cold brewed coffee
I have a homemade cold brew coffee maker, but I'm not sure how much coarse ground coffee I should use to how much water. Can anyone help me?
