I prefer Cimbali, I have seen a lot of machines on the market that have passed 10 year mark, and quite a few have been Cimbali's. But with all machines it requires proper maintenance, I have found it quite easy to maintain most Cimbali espresso machines.
The biggest difference I have seen on a Cimbali is the heat exchanger (inner boiler) can be swapped out if it is full of scale buildup. This is actually quite difficult on machines where the heat exchanger is built in. This is also a worst case scenario that most people try to avoid by maintaining soft water to the machine.
There are many other little differences that help shape the outcome of the espresso. My personal belief is it makes easier to work on the machine and work with the machine.

Our company has sold a lot of Cimbali espresso machines but I can't ever remember selling a Cimbali grinder!
I've always liked the Mazzer series for simplicity. I've sold a few Azkoyen Capriccio's, there fun to play with and fast. The price really isn't that much more then a Mazzer but I just don't think they make as consistent of a grind as a Mazzer.

Let see here the main floor is 3000 square feet with 16 or 20' ceiling. The basement has the same square footage along with 9' ceiling. Building dates back to the 1880 so the cooling and heating requirements are rather large.
As for equipment.
2 Fetco CBS 52H
1 3-group Cimbali
1 2-group Cimbali
4 espresso grinders
2 bulk grinders
2 panini grills
1 microwave
1 roaster
1 3bay glass fridge
1 2bay glass freezer
1 under counter fridge
1 display cooler
Thats just behind the counter and doesn't include some of the smaller electrical appliances.
Then we have a stage with sound equipment which also ties in the store music. A few really big indoor neon signs.
Also missing are 3 or 4 more fridges along with another 4 freezers. Ice machine, lights, computers, network equipment, outdoor light. There is also an office behind the stage.
The basement houses most of the freezers and also my work shop. Which includes even more power hookups for working on equipment.
Here's a picture that only shows half of the building.

This one here shows a little more.

Hello,
My name is Elisabeth and my family were the exclusive sales and service for La Cimbali espresso coffee machines in Vancouver. We sold commercial espresso machines for over 23 years and in those years we collected some amazing antique espresso machines.
I have 2 flyers attached with all the antique espresso machines that my family owns and would like to sell. Please pass on this information to anyone you think would be interested in these antique machines. Price is negotiable and we would be willing to give a better price if a bunch of machines where sold all together. Many of the machines are still in working order---how cool is that!!! I have pictures!!

I wanted to get some opinions on the La Cimbali espresso machines and how they compare to other machine in the U.S. market
We are using the San Marco and ECM. They all works very well. For the San Marco, it will give you a surprice after you buy it. At the begining, you may not familiar to it, but later you will love it.
Jaguar? Is that an Ad.? I saw many people using it and making terrible coffee. You know, I sometime have to drink more than 20 cups of espresso during adjusting a machine. But I cound not even drink one cup from those guys.
