Technivorm http://www.technivorm.com/pages/products-home.html#

You can buy one from Boyds Coffee who is the distributor for the machine.

They run about $245 but these are about the only home coffee brewer that can brew a Gold Cup Standard cup coffee and has been certified by the SCAA to do so.

I would say that nearly all home drip brewers do not even come close to brewing at the 200F mark. My wife's Mr. Coffee barely hits 190 and she wonders why I wait to get to work to drink my coffee!

Hey BoNa Cafe! Good luck with the opening of the cafe. Being a dealer for CMA (San Marino/Astoria) in Indonesia, means I do have quite a bit to do with the guys selling Argenta in the Philippines. They are sold through Boyds Coffee there- Roberto and the guys selling and doing the technical work are a pretty solid and experienced crew.

When we started looking for an espresso machine line to work with in Indonesia we did a lot of homework. Indonesian cafe conditions (although improving now) were very, very tough on the machines. Lack of staff discipline, high staff turnover, a lack of understanding of electricity  ...well the list goes on. Anyway we decided on CMA products because they are built like tanks. They are also configured nicely for opperating in a high humidity environment. I am not saying things do not go wrong with the machines, but the likelyhood of a problem is low in my opinion.

I have 4 Reneka Basic II's. I suppose the manuals are around somewhere in hard copy under my piled up desk. Have you contacted Technibrew/Boyds coffee to have them send you a copy? If not, e-mail me- we'll get you one somehow.

Yes. First, let me say I have owned two Technivorms for more than 20 years. Both are still working just fine, and I love them. However, about two years ago, I ordered a new carafe and had the dribbling problem. I contacted Boyds Coffee (where I bought it), and they replaced it. I did find however if I skewed the top just a bit to the right, the dribble problem went away. But it was definitely not right.
