I thought about this also. It could work well with a coffee truck that goes door to door but i cannot see that being cost effective. i have also seen coffee bikes that have ability to make coffee but unless you have a team of them, how would you cover larger areas. in the same office building...
How is the Artisan working for you?
I am working toward starting a small roasting business in southern cali. I have been looking at the Artisan for it's price, ease of use, and ease to move if i chose to go from home based roasting to a store front at some point.
What do you think of it so...
Are you using the Artisan roaster? What do you think of the quality of the roasted beans? I purchased some coffee from a roaster that uses it and I found the coffee to be rather bland.
I see many mentions of the Artisan roaster. what do you think of it? it is well priced, i can move it from a home based business to a retail business if i want...but I purchased some coffee from a vendor who uses it and I found the flavor rather flat. what is your experience with it?
Sign me up too...i would love a copy of the manual. i will pm my email!
opening a new business takes lot's of work and research. been lurking here for a few months. lot's of good stuff!!!!

I have the Cuisinart grind and brew combo. it makes good coffee, but we stopped using the grinder long ago because it was always wet from brewing coffee.
