Hey Jea --
I did a review of the IMPRESSA E9, you can see it here if you like:

Jura-Capresso makes great products. The thing I love about the automatic coffee makers is the automated nature of them. Elimination of hassle is a good thing...
I filled it out just to see if I'd have a chance to try it. I've tried the Tassimo single serve unit and was not impressed at all, sorta wanted to see how this one would fair.
Can't comment on the Z5, but the IMPRESSA E9 is amazing, I can only imagine the Z5 to be phenominal. If you would like to read a review of the E9, take a look at my profile and head over. I believe they share many similar traits.
Most demoralizing espresso experience was when I "thought" we had time to sit down in the shop and enjoy ourselves, so I ordered a double espresso. My wife however had other ideas (errands) and we had to change the order to go.
Drinking espresso from a styrofoam cup was the absolute worst...
A pig is still a pig no matter how you dress it up. I totally agree that the focus should be on technique and taste first, art second. Art is a great bonus, in fact its something I hope continues to be a draw as a reason for people to come into a shop and not just pop in and get a cup to go...
I find myself constantly struggling with the thought of whether to incorporate adsense or not. One one hand I think, why not. On another I think, I am paying for a hosted site to avoid ads.
I was just wondering if other people who have coffee sites have, or are struggling with this topic.
I've used a Bodum French Press for some time now and its hands down one of my favorite ways to make coffee. Nothing beats the look on peoples faces when they see the coffee sludge swirling around. Their faces quickly change when they taste its wonders.
What kind of budget do you want to work with? I ask because that will be a good way to narrow your choices. Of course you could consider going used which would extend your buying power if you are willing to take that risk.
