King cake is what we eat around Mardi Gras time. They just started popping up in stores around Christmas, and they'll stop around Mardi Gras day, which is Feb. 12th this year. Every year it's on a different day. Next year it'll be on March 4th.
I have a friend that prefers the "plain" cakes...

But I've seen it mentioned elsewhere on the forum that older coffee was more robusta. And the market changed to now becoming mostly arabica.
Don't listen to anything I've said, however, because I just born in the Eighties.
You need a hammock. You'll always go to sleep and wake up when you need to... in a hammock.
But this might not be true with, say, 5 cups of coffee. :-D
Perhaps you need more, or stronger, coffee??
I have a tumbling composter, but I'm not going to be using it in the colder months.
So for now, I've just been scooping out the grounds with my hand and throwing them in the trash... then washing the little remnants down the drain.
But I'm wondering how many of you will dump all the grounds...
I'm thinking that, perhaps, a strong cup of coffee is defined by nothing more than its color, which primarily comes from the roast.
Is there something else that one can gauge how strong a cup of coffee is without looking at it???
