    Skerton or Mini Mill?

I'm not nostradamus, but i'm placing my pronostic . 2 months and you will buy an electric grinder. A cheap one, my be a Krups GVX, a Russel Hobs or a similar one. 3 to 4 mounths later a not so cheap one. You have start the "search of perfection" running. Enjoy it :-) :-) :-) :-P. Salu2...

    Skerton or Mini Mill?

It's borring grinding more than 20-30 gr. For more i will choose an electric one. Minimil has a piece where fix the axe, made of plastic. This piece uses to go (i don't know haow to explain in english, sorry) over scuared and the grinder becomes useless. It's the main reason i bought an...

    Skerton or Mini Mill?

Skerton; up to 100 gr, minimill 40 gr. Clear model is also interesting for the vacum sistem down, you can fix it on the table and grind, but is more expensive and only can hold 40 gr. Salu2. Indesio.

Which Coffee do you like most?

Somewhere over here said my favourite was Volcán de Oro, from Guatemala. Now I can't confirm this. Yergacheffe (very citrus) and Bonga From Ethiopia, Geisha Supremo Finca la Esperanza (flower power), Acatenango from Guatemala (hazelnuts and almonds)... It's horrible, I like them all, can't say...

    Small office espresso machine recommendations

As CoffeeJunkie said, a super automatic machine is the choice. Now i got at home a Krups 8260, almost the same as my old 7250 (now at grandmom's). Easy to use, to clean and very aceptable espresso. At home we call it the caffeine vending, just push and enjoy. Salu2. Indesio.

Just grind the coffee you're going to use each time. As soon as grind it, this runs down. Salu2. Indesio.

How do you prefer your beans to be roasted?? Light, Medium, Full, or Double Roast?

City roast, not the full city (when oils come surface). Just the poit before. I just stop roasting when the first crank ends. I don't like smoke flavor on my coffee, just opossite on my idiazabal cheesse and the lax (smoked salmon). Salu2. Indesio.

    Instant Coffee

No good. Just acceptable. Even nestle's (sorry) nescafé is useful depending environment. Not everyday home coffee is possible. For this kind of days the colombian soluble is my option. Costa rica's one isn't so good IMO. The espresso arabico (soluble) is also a choice. Available on all...

Experts: Do you warm up your Espresso Machines?

It's hard to explain... Let's do it. A water pump works agains a pressure as you say, but what is a danger is working whitout water. The water lubricates and refrigerate the inner pump. Any pump has a curve with an optimal working point (preassure-caudal). When is no pressure, the caudal...

    Guatemala Beans

Guatemala "Volcán de Oro", city roast is my top. Don't know too much about other. Just can say i used a "generic" guatemala and it was far from "Volcán de Oro". A friend says the best is a coffee from Chiapas (Mexico), same mountains, a border in the middle. Salu2. Indesio.

What's more important, a good grinder or a good water filter?

The water is the key. Even a simple carbon water filter improves a better coffee. Brita, Claris... there are a lot of cheap and good filtrers. Eldub's solution is also a good idea. 1 bottle serves a lot of espressos. Salu2. Indesio.
