Still no RMA number? Called a manager today and got one over the phone. Maybe they dont want me to meet the 15 day return policy. Who knows. Really, considering this buyers experience they should pay the return shipping. But, Im just happy to get rid of it.

Apparently a computer power cord works to power it on. Ran about a pound of coffee through it, experimenting with the adjustments. Its a super auto. Thought it would make espresso at least as good as my much cheaper combo machine but it does not. Called this morning to get an RMA#, but they...

Not so happy as you might imagine. First off the machine is filthy there is dried milk all in the frother and above it. Not just white stuff but yellowing goo. Thats disgusting. :( Then I realize that there is no power cord. :evil: The machine is labeled as being 2 years old. TWO YEARS...

PS. The "wholelattelove" is the seller name on ebay. I presume they are Wholelattelove.com. They also have the Classico. I have a Saeco built machine. Mine has lasted about 3 years, still going. Its not bad, but Im sure its nothing compared to the Silvia. Dont forget about the Burr grinder$$$

Food for thought... wholelattelove has a Saeco Via Veneto for 126.54 and if you have paypal they let you pay over 3 months with no interest. Check it out. Maybe you could afford something better if you use that option if you use paypal. Just an option, some people do not use ebay or paypal but...

An average joe probably would not be here asking questions. So maybe you are not an average joe. I started with a blade grinder (braun). And it was better than buying preground coffee. I do still enjoy Dunkin Donuts whole bean coffee. Only I grind it with a burr grinder now. IT IS BETTER.
