    Information Please: About Barrel-Aging Coffee

I have dabbled in the fusing of wine with beans. A couple of things I have learned. -If you soak beans in wine that has ANY residual sugar, you will get a "burnt sugar" taste when you roast them, even after drying the beans thoroughly. -Another option to infuse wine in coffee is to actually...

Green Decaf Beans Get Stuck in Roaster Chute - Silly Beans Don't Want to Slide

This happens to me every time as well! I just tap the hopper a little and it usually does the trick. However, I don't do 300lbs at a time of DeCaf! Good luck with that!

I had an issue when I started my business. I converted the front part of my garage into my roasting area. When I applied for a permit, the town expressed concern that my "smoke and oder" was going to infringe on my neighbors. Although I was in a residential area, there was a restaurant across...

Information Please: Does anyone anyone know anything about R&R Roasters?

Actually, when I was researching roster for my first one, I did look at Mill City. It cam down between them and Buckeye. I chose Buckeye because of the customer service at the time. I'm having issue with my Buckeye and am quite frustrated, so I'm thinking about not only upgrading in size, but...

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone knows anything about R&R Roasters? Specifically the r2 model? What's the quality? Do they have a legitimate tech support? What is the companies track record? They seem relatively competitive in their pricing, but sometimes that can be a bad thing...

Anyone know anything about Buckeye Coffee roasters?

I guess i should have posted an update on my situation! I ended up purchasing the Buckeye for my business. It has worked out well with the customer service being great! Randy at Buckeye worked with me and the roaster was delivered as they promised. It's a workhorse!
