I don't think it would be an issue assuming you occasionally de-scale the boiler, and flush the head with proper cleaners.
As long as the water you are using is fairly neutral and at least not highly acidic.
Definitely worth doing yourself.
You could also replace the Solid State Switch with an actual electromechanical Relay.
Only not I will make is you should remove BOTH of the Leads on the Left Side.
If testing with line voltage energized, both connectors on, use the voltmeter function instead...

Long time drinker, short time maker here.
I am not getting to 9 bars during shot(only 4 bar)
I consistently get 9 with the blind filter.
Am using a bottomless PF
I have:
reduced grind size(tried Pretty much the full range of this grinder)
minimized headspace
cleaned seal
cleaned shower...
I have a Profitec 500 Pro (pre-PID)
Heat Exchanger Boiler.
Hot Water Wand water at 200° F
Adjusting Pressurestat to dial in brew temperature.
What temperature should the water be coming from Shower Screen (no portafilter on it)?
Currently with pressure at 1.6 bar the temp is 181° F out of Shower...
