5 or 10kg Toper roaster?

I am putting together a small roastery with the intention of supplying a few cafes and coffee drinkers in my city with fresh fair trade beans.

I am undecided between the 5 and 10kg Toper roaster. Would a 5kg be big enough to handle the workload of a growing biz?

Is there another option on an afterburner other than the topper burner?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

5kg Toper

Hi,
I have been roasting for just over year on my 5kg Toper, I have a small cafe in the South Island of NZ. I roast about 30kg a week and really wish I had bought a 10kg as the footprint is not that much bigger but it would save a whole lot of time ! I find the 5kg will only roast about 3kg max at a time and I have 4 beans in my blend.
How that helps.

I have 4 roasters..2.5, 10 60 and a 120...wish I had 2 120's!! Go with the 10 kilo. You can roast small batches on and full batches..trust me you want the 10
