Advice on Buying a Shop

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and so far I have really enjoyed reading all the postings. I have a drive thru shop in N. California and I am looking at adding another location. I have found a location that I like and a drive thru owner that would like to sell. Now I am trying to figure out what is a fair price to offer. The land is leased but the building and equipment come with the sale. Building and equipement is 4 years old, but well maintained. Can anyone give me any advice as to how drive thrus are priced? I could really use the help.

It should be evaluated as any other business. I would seek (pay for) the advice of a professional. What if it's a bad deal at any price? What if it's a smoking deal at what they ask... ? These are things you can only get from a pro.
