I've never used that meter. But I've used the Coffee Pro Moisture Mac and it's been good for us. They run around $300.

I'm curious... how do you use the meter in your roasting, and what benefit do you find with it?

Peter, the moisture meter is to check the % of moisture in the green coffee received.
Past crop, especially over 1-1 1/2 years stored will lose its natural moisture. So important to
deal with reputable traders, so there is no moving of past crop coffee to the roasters. Also,
if it is not properly stored it may gain moisture through the stored environment, high humidity
etc.
