Anyone roasts with Probat L5?

Hi all, please share your opinion with me on Probat L5. Does the Probat L5 different much from the older 5 kilo Probat roasters? I was told the older Probat roasters are virtually indestrutable, but what about L5?

hi, i am roasting with probat lg 3, which is an older brother of the l 5. it was made in 1938, so it gives you some idea about the quality of probat 8)

Have used probat in the past....they are beautiful roasters...except when you want to clean the cooling bin...you have to dis-mantle the whole bin to get under it....they are a bit expensive also...but they are built to last!!! Before buying one...ask around to people who use them and find out how the customer service is...after you buy and use it that is.
