I emailed Baratza, here's what they have to say:

"Hello Regev:
First of all the Virtuoso and Preciso are identical when it comes to how fine it will grind.
We do not recommend any of our grinders for Turkish. As you know, Turkish is very fine. Our experience is that grinding that fine will end up damaging the grinder. We sold the virtuoso to a Turkish website for a year. He quit selling it after a year because of all the problems his customers had. It seems that after a month of working so hard to grind powder fine, the grinder starts breaking.

I would recommend you consider a hand grinder. You might consider the Lido or Pharos. I am pretty sure they will grind fine enough and will be much easier (ed: than the Hario hand mill) to grind the coffee you need. OE Hand Grinders
Best wish"

So... what do you think? No hope for an electric grinder?
