Over the year I have gained a huge passion for coffee. I plan on opening up my own coffee shop in the next 5 years to give people the experience of a great cup of coffee and the journey of the bean to the consumer. I recently got hired on at one of my local coffee shops to gain the experience and knowledge of roasting. I wanted to know if joining the Barista Guild of America will be helpful in acquiring my coffee shop or if any one in the forum has experience being part of the guild. I'm thinking about joining but want to get some opinions first. Thanks.
