I am gathering drink recipes for an account that is going to be serving our coffee. I need coffee base alcoholic drinks. This is a market that really has not taken off..well not in my area. When I was at the casino we put a full liquor bar in the coffee shop and did coffee based drinks and it was amazing!! If you have a recipe please share!! Here is one to get us started...
A wonderball
1 oz Godiva chocolate liquor
1 oz cointreau liquor
8 oz drip coffee
topped with whipped cream and dusted with chocoalte

YIKES!!!!

I am now venturing down the exhausting road of retail. To be honest, I am going in kicking and screaming

We will have a liquor license and will be serving some of the above......well, the simple idiot proof ones anyway.

I would bet the booze sells with or without the coffee in it.....but I hear what you are saying. I am told the flaming drinks do well.

Still, I have some hesitancy about retail as my leisurely life of roasting will be coming to an end.

I was in a casino when I added liquor to the menu. We actually sold more in the morning than we did at night...guess to take the edge off all their losses.

I am in the process of opening a roastery in South Florida. I am excited about being able to dabble in retail once again. It has been over 8 years since I have been behind a bar serving shots! The roastery will have a 60 kilo roaster and all the equipment needed to turn out production for our sister companies stores. The thing is that in the front of the roastery will be a store front separated by a huge glass wall. Should be up and running in under a month or so! Second roastery will be open supposedly by end of year....WOOT!!
