How would you rank these coffee franchises...

Borders (the bookstore)
Coffee Beanery
Starbucks
Barney's
Peet's Coffee and Tea
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf
and any others you want to include.

I didn't think Starbucks did franchises...Is Barnies doing franchises again? They bought up all their franchises in the early 90's...they had a rough time with their franchises...they where a real pain in the ass for them.

Obviously we can't all go to independant coffee houses and thus we're resorted to the traditional franchises such as Starbucks, Borders, Tulley's and etc. So I just wanted to know what people preferred when it came to "franchise" coffee houses, no biggie.
I think someone mentioned about Tulley's, and that's a place I would like to try. (Another reason why I started this thread, so that we could all hear about other regional frnachises that some of us may not have. So if we were to travel to those places we could check em out.)

Thanks cuppED for clearing that up for me. Sometimes I can be narrow minded  ...Seeing that a lot of us here usually look to assist one another within this industry, and not necessarily promote the corporate chains I did not initially understand your reason for the question.
