Honestly its about keeping your page clean and clear. If you have it cluttered with info then it just puts people off. I didn't even bother reading the page you had listed.

Your home page gave me the same feel. If I was a consumer I might have just bailed and kept on a searching. You have 3 seconds to catch their eye and attention if you don't do it your done.

CCafe, I certainly value and thank you for your input.
I trust that you know more about web design than I do as I’ve only been
doing this stuff for about a year now. You’ve given me something to think
about for sure. I need to figure out what “clutter” means in website terms
and implement that into a layout that is easier to navigate.

Here’s an image of the current basic layout:

You're right, the 3 second rule is golden... Thanks man.

Ed, hi

The one comment I would make, and it concerns more than just this page, is that the small font size, combined with the italics, combined with it being reversed out...makes it quite hard to read. I would nix the italics, except for where you want a few words emphasized, and increase the font size.

It's all about our visitors reading what we write, yes? So we need to make it easy to read, not hard.

My Sunday morning 2 cents. : )

I can't believe I went into overkill with the italics and didn't even notice. I left italics in one key spot only. You're right, it makes such a difference. Also, I bolded some of the fonts to stand out better from the background.

You're the best man, thank you...
