This is a great question, I believe you will get a lot of information just reaching out to people that have roasted on these specific roasters. What I have found is that every roaster (even if they are the same make and model) have their own personality. I am also a firm believer in "you pay for what you get" or "pay me now or pay me later".

Thanks for the info.

After a couple (few) months deciding on a grinder, I pulled the trigger on the Mini Mazzer.

Illy had it with 2 tins of coffee and free shipping for $ 430.00

I now wil not have to upgrade my grinder.

I got a quote for the SF-6 LB of $ 10,500
I see a 22 pound Toper for $ 11,697

I'm looking for a "smallish" roaster.

Is the SF that much better of a unit than Toper ?

Thanks for your help

The price for 22 pound machine is cheaper than you know. Please contact with us to have up to date prices.

Cost of a Coffee bean Roaster

Hi,

Just as an alternative - there is a commercial fully automatic smokeless coffee bean roaster suitable for coffee houses who want to roast in-house for around $14,000.

6lbs (2.5Kg) requires 3-ohase electric, has on-board water and looks good.
