Hello all!
I am a high school English teacher and brew coffee for my students throughout the day. Currently, I use a 14-cup Cuisinart, which is serviceable. However, despite filtered water and regular descaling, it is beginning to slow down quite a bit. I plan to replace it after this year.
Since I end up brewing several times over the course of the morning, I was thinking about a commercial machine (perhaps used?) such as a lower-end Bunn, to make 30+ cups, or at least make 12 cups much faster than the home machines. It would be particularly useful to have a metal server or carafe that I could fill.
Any thoughts or considerations as to brand, etc? I was looking at percolators, but the multi-cycle cooking action makes the coffee awful after a bit, AFAICT.
Thank you, all!
