Hello everyone

I have been trying to figure out the benefits and differences between Japanese cold brew and cold drip. It will not let me post links but here are 2 videos on youtube explaining each style.

Cold drip: watch?v=VAwW6H12bsI

Cold brew: watch?v=pPM8mcqHxes

Which do you guys prefer and why? What are some of the benefits of each? I personally love the cold brew but some prefer the taste of drip. would love to hear feedback on this.

Would appreciate any feedback :)

Thank you

Cold drip/Kyoto/Dutch coffee - drip coffee over ice, Cold brew - immersion brew in cold water, Japanese style - brew hot coffee over ice (sometimes called flash brew as well - but generally it uses coils to rapidly cool down the hot brew)

I like the taste of drip better than cold brew

Are there any health advantages of one over the other?

Kyoto is cold water over ice, Japanese is hot coffee over ice... that is Kyoto dripper. IMO cold drip is the best... takes forever but is great.
