Can one tell how much electricity is running into a space by looking at the panel? I mean, if you add up all the breakers, will it tell you how many amps run into the space?

When looking at potential locations, the broker NEVER knows this information, and getting it is like pulling teeth ; (

Thanks

Look at the main breaker in the middle at the top of the panel. It is usually marked 100 or 200 amps. That’s your standard breaker. They can get a lot bigger but typically you will find 100 – 200 amp service.

You may first want to make sure it is not a sub panel. Basically a 2nd box connected to the 1st.
