espresso pot

My espresso pot is messed up. it's made of chrome and i put is in the dishwasher, now it's all stained black.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Are you sure that it's chrome and not polished aluminium? Chrome shouldn't stain, even in the dishwasher, aluminium on the other hand will discolor due to the harsh chemicals.

Try to sumerge pot in container with cold water mixed with real lemon juice. Leave it overnight. If it is polished aluminium it might work. Good luck!
