I've used Atlas, Mercanta, Royal (both NY & CA), and Cafe Imports. They're all different, but all the same. If approached correctly, you can build a relationship with any of them, and it'll all be good.
There might be a handful of importers who don't like dealing with smaller roasters such as myself, but the above are all great in my experience.
I buy from PBFY, and met them at the SCAA last week. They showed me an option for imprinting the bags, which I may go with when my current stock of labels runs out. You pay $150 for the plate, and they charge 16cents per bag to print, and the end result is very attractive.
