Just want to say Hi,
found this forum by accident and the info is great. I am starting another venture and being totally new inthe coffee business any and all info wil be appreciated. I chose the Fetco CBS-2042 and the Ditting KR-1203 for starters. I will be handling specialty coffees, just a few varieties until I get my feet wet. Any opinions on the FETCO equipment? I have also looked into the Jura expresso units....
Thanks
Charlie

Fetco Extractor CBS-2042 is a very good brewer. I have the L3 series Luxus Thermos, but I think I prefer the LD series. Ditting is a very good grinder.

The spelling is espresso. You definitely don't want to have a typo there.

Thanks for the reply

Thanks ElPugDiablo,
I also chose the LD series.
I just ordered the Ambex TM-2 to get my feet wet with roasting.

location

between boston and cape cod. rockland is the name of the town

Go check out Simon's Coffee Shop, 1736 Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge. It's probably the best espresso shop in Boston area. You should also visit terriorcoffee.com in Acton MA. Best of lucks.
