Have been doing some research on a suitable grinder for my Brasilia Lady pump driven espresso machine, and am leaning towards a Gaggia MDF Burr Grinder.

Any opinons / feedback on this grinder would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have the Gaggia MDF and I like it a lot. Keep in mind though, each MDF seems to be a little different in its grind settings. So if one MDF user says he gets the perfect espresso grind by setting to #12, your MDF may get that same fineness on #14 or #10.

The only thing I don't like about it much is the dosing lever. In the beginning I thought it would dose out the perfect amount for each shot, but that's not the way it works. I end up hitting the lever about 5 times, filling up the portafilter to the top and then tamping. Not a big deal though. It's a great grinder. Been using it for about 6 years.
