I used to have a Grimac Nuvola pod machine and am currently upgrading to a Grimac Dada Double Vapor (two group pod machine). I have enjoyed the Grimacs, but at some point I would like to purchase a non-pod machine to use alongside the pod machine (depending on how lazy I am). Therefore I am wondering how other machines would compare to the Grimacs.
From what I gather, some of the popular machines are Rancilio Silvia, Nuova Simonelli, La Marzocco, Astoria and others. How would each of these compare to Grimac? From the little I have read it seems like Grimac would be better than Rancilio Silvia, but not as good as the other 3. Is this correct? Also how does the Grimac Mia fit into all this? Any other brands to consider that are better, equal or worse?
I know this question is pretty open-ended, but I am just trying to figure out what I can get out of a different machine, and how it compares to what I already have.
