Have you every been invited to a coffee tasting?

We have the opportunity to do this in a variety of locations across the USA. Is this something you would like to attend! You would get to try coffee from around the world, picked from different altitudes and different soil content. You would have the opportunity to purchase any of theses products from this coffee location.

Cost to attend would be around $20 per person.

This is just an idea for a coffee roadshow.

We have growers from

South America
Hawaiian Islands
Mexico
China
Russia
Germany
Philippines
Malaysia
and many more.

Please post your opinions or suggestion we are trying to put this together in California, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and Miami.

I really want to try the Russian and German grown beans. That should be a hoot.

ps: How do you tell if the "stuff" has gone bad? Well, the stuff from Germany and Russia should never go bad, as I don't think it gets warm enough to spoil coffee beans there.

What you list sounds like a lot of commodity grade offerings. If Africa and Central America aren't on the top of your list, then it's not much of a tasting, is it?

Irrelevant, unless it's to show proper vs improper soil and low-grade, low altitude coffees vs high altitude coffees? Based on your post, I doubt that this is the case. It sounds like maybe YOU should pay people $20 to not have to taste these offerings. You might make more money that way... just a thought.

We have vendors from around the world offering us product that claim to be the best made coffee from ______________ I'm not a grower or a roaster I'm a wholesaler. We have our customers always asking for something new and different this is how I could accompliah it. We have talked to a few and they are willing to upfront all the cost of the events at these tasting and it wouldn't be any cost to anyone. We would just bring cases of product to the event and the one you like and enjoy you have the option to purchase.

There is product coming 6 different growers in South America we are currently getting the selection sorted to offer our customers. I'm just not a coffee specialist I have people that work for me that have deal with those vendors I was just asking to see what people thought of the idea,

So lets ask this again would you attend a free event from a variety of different manaufactures/producers of coffee from all over the globe? We are not talking about COMICCON we would just old it at a hotel or coffee shop non-brand. Simple.

Bringing cases of coffee is only good if it was roasted less than a week before said event. Of course, if you are offering green, unroasted coffee, that's a different story.
