I like using the ese pods in my Breville. It's convenient and fast really. Actually, the pods I have used are packed so tight that the brewing action goes slow enough that I know I must be getting a good extraction.
My problem now is the flavor. For the pandemic I ordered 100 pod box of a Cafe Mercanti from Amazon. It was good but I think I can do better. I am getting a little tired of the dark, probably robusto, flavor of this espresso blend. I'm looking for something a little lighter.
My son has a Nespresso machine and his flavor is very good, better than what I have been drinking from my Breville.
Do you know of someone who can emulate Nespresso flavor but in an ese pod? I would hat to buy another 100-pod box only to make a mistake, but maybe some will come in smaller packages.
