Hello,

I'm new to this forum and new to roasting with a drum roaster. I had been on a coffee crafters artisan 6 for several years. now have a WK-2 from Wintop. My question is on how to read the gas pressure. Watching numerous roasting videos, I hear people say, "gas is on 2kpa, or 5kpa." I don't understand how to read that on my machine. Maybe I'm still too much of a novice to understand. Can anyone tell me ow to read this? What "kpa" would I be at in this photo? Is this dial 1.0 = 1kpa? 2.0 = 2kpa? If so, how am I hearing others say they're at 5kpa?

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

My roaster uses water column inches for pressure measurement... that dial is measuring kilopascals... pretty simple you are at approx .4 kpa
