High blood level of homocysteine from drinking coffee

I don't know if anyone has brought this up yet but there's research that shows why coffee intake raises heart disease risk. It raises the blood level of homocysteine, which is a chemical that inhibits maintenance of the blood vessel walls.

For example:

It seems that tea has a better profile but it also raises homocysteine.

The BBC News article that Yar posted was published almost nine years ago. I think that since then, there have been newer studies that have shown how filtered coffee does have a benefit, in that it filters out much of the coffee oils that contain the LDL cholesterol.

My grandpa is in his nineties now, drinks filtered coffee every day and has had no heart troubles to speak of. Joint troubles, yes. Eyesight diminishing now and not many teeth left, so maybe they can pin all of that on drinking coffee next.

Its just one of the little harm that Coffee can have.But If seen it acts as a supplement in curing many disease like Cancer, Asthma etc

I must share the information that the coffee is also helpful to all age friends and other too.It helps to maintain the blood pressure level too.Also it help to excite the eye vision of the old men, so maybe they can pin all of that on drinking coffee next.
