To those of you who have shopped around on internet coffee suppliers, are there any suppliers you'd reccomend in the midwest of the USA?

I am mostly interested in a high quality bean, the cost is not really an issue.

Oh, btw, I don't have roasting capabilities, so I am referring to a company that sells roasted coffee.

We have a large variety of terrific beans on our site that may interest you. Feel free to pm any questions.

ElPug,

That looks to be a very good list. How did you come up with all these names?

I actually order from the Roasterie already.

They are very well known quality oriented roasters. I buy from some them from time to time just to judge my own roasts.

Where do you get your raw beans? (or is that a secret :? )

Edit: I pick up supplies for my business about a mile down the road from the Roasterie, so I usually just swing by when I need more beans. Few people who bring coffee over can top their coffee. But I just like to keep my eyes open  for even better...

2nd Edit: The Roasterie does tours every Saturday morning at 11 AM, and I'm thinking about going this weekend.

No secret. I buy from Royal NY, Cafe Imports, Volcafe Specialty, BD Imports. I also buy some COE type auction coffees.

Second on intelligensia. And if you''re up in Chicago on certain Saturdays each month they do a nice tour of the roasting facility.

terroircoffee.com is also good (not midwest but good mail order)
