Her you can off you skills and work of art of what you do at home. After try after try I finally have something that looks like latte art. When I first started I would say whatever it looks like that's what it is lol. So let see some your work and we can determine what it looks like. Here is some of my latte art.

not bad at all for a beginner!
Youtube has some good instruction videos and you just got to keep practicing.
Also, I am sure that you already know... but the milk foam got to be bit thick to make the detailed latte art.

Yep thanks. I'm still not very consistent with the milk but I practiace everyday.

you said that you have Breville Barista espresso machine, right?
which one do you have?
can you send us the photo of your machine? that would be interesting.
thanks
PS: my name is Alex. And I work in Guatemala as Green coffee bean sales to overseas.

if you want to practice and not waste espresso... use food coloring. substitute a few drops for espresso and pour. Not an exact replica but will help!

Oh no wasting here. If it looks good or not I drink it. Thanks for the suggestion.

This is the machine I have

thanks for the photo.
looks great. Hopefully I can get one for father's day gift.... Just hoping...

Was it very hard for you? How much time did you spend to do it?

Thanks,

I am a small roaster so i use for espresso either a good brazilian peaberry that i like a lot because of the cacao notes that fit well with the milk. If i am doing an espresso then i use either my espresso blend (brazil, colombian and two microlot from Guatemala) and i test a lot of single origin from time to time as drip or espresso.
