Hi guys,
I'm new here.
I'm planning to open a cafe in a few years (I'm not 18 yet) and I really love coffee I love making it, drinking it etc.
I would like to hear your opinion about a cafe name. this is just a random name I made up and I sort of like it but I know that I may like many things that others wont. so i want you to be completely honest.
Coins Coffee & CO.

I am open to any suggestions you would like to make so feel free to give any names

Thanks,
Little Hobbit

What have coins got to do with your café? Are you a coin collector? Are you selling coins? Do you want coin collectors as customers? If I were in your market, I'd be concerned you were more interested in coins than coffee.

EDIT TO ADD: I apologize if my post came off too bluntly. My first feeling when I saw your proposed café name was you might be trying to mix two unrelated interest into one. After thinking about it, maybe "Coins" is your name and has nothing to do with money. Seriously though, I suggest you not get too focused on a name until you get closer opening a café. Be open. When you are ready and find a spot for your café, you should consider there might be a name that fits that location. One of my favorite coffee houses locally is name "Fido". Fido? Why? Because part of his shop use to be an old Nashville pet shop by that name. The name stuck. It is a good thing the owner wasn't mentally committed to some other name. Fido is just perfect for this place even if the name has nothing to do with coffee.

I'd more about the quality of product and service than the name of the shop. Unless offensive, the name really doesn't matter much, IMO. But the quality of your product will determine wether folks return for a second visit or not.

As you can see, we're a bit confused.

Is you last name Coins? Is the name supposed to mean Coins Coffee and Company? Why not just Coins Coffee? That is, unless you're actually going to combine selling coins along with selling coffee.

By the way, welcome to the Coffee Forums, Little Hobbit!

We have an establishment here named the copper penny. the tables and bar have old indian head pennies designed in to them hence the name.

Hi Guys,
sorry I was offline for a while.
No it doesnt have anything to do with Coins its just a name that popped into my head.
"kboom" gets what I mean if I was going to call it Coins coffee it would probably have a coin as a logo. and yes I really would mind about the quality of the product and I was hoping that I would grind the beans freshly, not like Costa that takes it out of a packet and then puts it in and the beans are already grinded. I want the beans to be fresh. I found a website coffeebeanshop.co.uk and apparently they roast the beans the same day. if you have ever head of it or used them then pls tell me. no worries "Janry" like I said I am open to suggestions and want to hear your honest opinion.

btw the people on the website are based in Kent, which is about 2 hours drive away from me.
