Iced Coffee Problems

Hi,

I am using a home blender to make some iced coffee, however am having some problems. Everytime the ice gets blended and poured into a cup, the crushed ice just rises to the top, with the pure liquid at the bottom. This doesn't happen with just iced coffee - basically any drink that invovles crushed ice.

I even scooped 1 teaspoon of ice out of the top of the drink and into a little wine glass, and even then the ice separated from the drink.

Is there any way to correct this?

Any help appreciated,

Simon

I do not know exactly what you are trying to achieve. I think most people make iced coffee with cold brewed coffee and ice cubes. If you are trying to make a blended drink, like a coffee slushie, use less coffee and more ice. To make a blended americano, you should use a couple shots of espresso and ice.
I hope this is what you are looking for!
