Hi everyone, looking for a new place to chat coffee as I’m finding Reddit super frustrating. As my screen name reflects pourover is my main thing!
My specialty coffee experience started In 2015, I attended a tech conference where George Howell spoke on the art of coffee cupping. As a former restaurant manager and wine connoisseur, I was fascinated—coffee seemed just as expressive as wine. This inspired me to explore specialty coffees as my body started hating alcohol.
This passion for coffee led me to create Coffee Roast, a site that blends my expertise in building review platforms with my love for coffee. It's designed for coffee enthusiasts to track, rank, and share opinions on different coffees. At home, we're avid coffee drinkers; my wife enjoys cappuccinos and cold brews, while I prefer pourovers and espressos. I’m just here to chat coffee though. I’m pretty good at troubleshooting pourover related issues if you need help!
