We are a small coffee roasting company in the west of Ireland that roast and ship only the finest ethically sourced, single origin coffees, All orders shipped and roasted in 24 hours.

as you may know, there are a lot of great specialty coffee roasters in USA & Canada.
what advantages do we have from buying from you (from Ireland) instead of buying them from local specialty coffee roasters in USA/Canada?
I think that even the quality of bean might be similar but transit time and shipping cost will be much higher...
can you explain about this matter?
thanks

The main reason we are now shipping to the USA and Canada is because we are getting a lot of interest in our coffee from these regions, We are unique in that we are a small independent Irish roaster based in the west of Ireland. Our coffee is lightly roasted in small batches and all our beans are ethically sourced and of the highest quality. Our shipping costs and transit time are very competitive and we think that choice is a good thing!

what would be the shipping cost for 3 lbs of "ethically sourced, highest quality and lightly roasted" coffee to be shipped to Los Angeles, CA USA?
just get some idea about shipping cost and transit time.
thanks

Lol,

1. You clearly did not read the TOS or rules for the forum.
2. If you think you have a market here good luck.
3. If you really are selling coffee then the rest of us have done a bad job at marketing.
4. The Usa customs gonna love you.

I've been hoping the next time Expat visits the Forum, he'll check out this thread and make a comment.

it cost me $175 by UPS (with 35% discount) to send 3 lbs of green coffee from Guatemala to my home in Long Beach.
and it cost about the same or more by Guatemala postal service, so it would be really interesting to know how much twinroaster will charge to send 3 lbs from Ireland to Long Beach.

Going to have to keep this short, Im a very busy guy. This forum in my opinion is just another example of where the internet gets weird, and I don't have time to reply to all these asinine and hate filled replies.

Good luck guys! you will need it.

Oh and get off your computers and go to a coffee shop to socialise it may help with your anger and jealously :)

Hey, do you have a website I can check? Cant seem to find you online. I am from south UK, would love to try your coffee! :-)

You found it...although I think twin roaster felt a little less than welcome here. I guess he took ensoluna's skepticism over shipping costs as a personal attack. Guess ya just gotta have a thick skin when it comes to forums where you meet a lot of potential competitors....this is not a commercial site, so when anyone comes here trolling for business, they sometimes get a little less than red carpet treatment...just sayin'...'

PinkRose I'll just comment on postage because An Post, Ireland's postal service, has some of the lowest rates in the world. Sorry to tell you this Ensoluna but I can send a 2kg pacakge -- anywhere in the world -- for 17.90 Euro. Ouch! It is great! And yes, I know how fortunate I am. We were in Italy recently and it cost me 2.20 Euro just to send a postcard to the U.S. Ouch again!

All I hear is the pitter pater of feet as roasters swarm to Ireland en masse....

twinroaster has not gotten back to us with the shipping cost, hasn't he?
I asked specific question about shipping cost of 3 lbs of coffee from Ireland to long beach, but after that, he went away...... sad.
