Lavazza Caffe Espresso taste Chalky out of the Moka Pot

I'm not new to the Moka pot, i usually use Cafe Bustello on a daily basis. I decided to try and brew Lavazza Caffe Espresso out of it the other day and it tasted chalky. I usually drink espresso Black but this just tasted really, really, thick. plus, extra water came out after the batch was finished and served. Has anyone else experienced this?
