16% is how many years??Wow, that is one tricky question! Geez.
Supposedly, if you drink one cup of coffee a day, it could extend your life expectancy by about 16%.
Don't you dare come back here and ask how they know this stuff! LOL!!!
Remember, drinking coffee has to be done in moderation, depending on what method of coffee making you use can alter that cup from just 3 shots of espresso to 3 cups of drip or that nasty pod and k-cup crap coffee.
I make strong coffee, and use mostly dark roast or medium dark, sometimes medium, but I don't care for the taste of light roast, because I make coffee using stronger methods I only drink 1 cup. I use espresso maker, Moka Pot, Vietnamese Phin maker, and Turkish coffee, those are my 4 favorite ways which just so happens to be the strongest ways of making coffee with Turkish being on top of the heap.
Light roasts retain more antioxidants because they are roasted for a shorter time, preserving more of the natural polyphenols. Studies have shown that light roast coffee contains a higher amount of these compounds compared to dark roasts.
While dark roasts are still rich in antioxidants, the roasting process reduces the polyphenol content. However, dark roast coffee can still offer health benefits, such as improved gut health, due to the lower levels of harmful compounds that are produced during longer roasting times. Dark roast is not as acidic as light roast so it's easier on the stomach.
If you’re looking for the highest level of antioxidants, light roast coffee is your best choice. However, both light and dark roasts offer beneficial properties for fighting inflammation and oxidative stress.
You can read about this stuff on the internet, I don't think a person should be drinking more than 3 cups a day. Also keep in mind that the more cups you drink a day and then decide to skip a day of coffee drinking the larger your headache will be, so there is that to consider.
That depends on your genetic background, and how well you do at cardo exercise. If you family only lives an average of 70 years than 16% will only add 11 years, but if your family averages 90 it would add 14 1/2 years. Obviously, the experts are just guessing, I seriously doubt that if your family consistently lives past their 100th birthday you'll make it to be 115 just because you drank coffee.16% is how many years??

If you took all the percentages of, if you do this and don't do that you live X number of percentage longer, we would be looking at people living to be 150 years old, well we know that ain't happening!
