Marketing a new coffee shop ideas?

Hi All,

I have recently opened up a coffee shop and would like to know how you went about creating the buzz about your coffee shop? As you may know it is quite difficult to market a new business in a small local community where customers have vowed their loyalty to already existing businesses, especially a coffee shop. A great marketing plan or suggestions would be much appreciated.
