Great question!
There are a number of sealers that will do the job. This is a constant-on jaw sealer, with Hi and Low settings for bag styles and thickness.
I have used this sealer for years for poly/foil bags. I like the width of the seal. Cheapest one on Ebay. 9/16in. wide seal.
There is a 5/8in. jaw sealer(costs quite a bit more), This one is on Namballe's posted link.
Also it will make a difference with the volume. The hand held is convenient, but may not be ideal with high volume and less hands.
I do also have a foot-operated impulse sealer. I will use some times.
You could spend a small fortune as prices vary especially for heavy duty or commercial heat sealers.

I bought my band sealer on eBay. It was a new unit from China. You can set it up as a horizontal or vertical machine. The American dealer is packagingmachinesonline dot com. Don Callan is the guy I spoke with. Still happy with the purchase after 20,000 or so bags of coffee having gone through it.
