Greetings everyone!
I've been poking around this forum every so often for a bit now. I am a recent college graduate who was used to surviving on Keurig coffee for four years until, finally, we bought a French press. Using commercial coffee grounds with the French press, without the correct temperature, still produced MUCH better coffee than the Keurig.
Now that I'm settled with a career, I'm looking to learn more about coffee and try some better brands. I plan on picking up an Aeropress this week, as well as an instant thermometer and a grinder.
I would thoroughly appreciate any suggestions for types of beans to try, as I am completely confused when looking at the various websites. I had some SO Colombian at a coffee shop in the Hamptons a few weeks ago that was great, but I don't really know what I'm doing...
Looking forward to learning more about coffee!
